Who this is

Placeholder: Canvas & Lens, run by Steven and Ellie Shurts. Add the legal name of the business and a contact email you actually read. The address on the contact page is still a placeholder while that flag is on.

What this website stores

The shop bag is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key canvas-lens-bag-v2. It stays on your device. The site has no accounts and no database of its own. Clearing site data removes the bag.

Messages you send

The quote form and the contact form are built to POST to Formspree. Until a real endpoint replaces the placeholder in the site settings, the submit button is off and nothing is delivered. After you connect it, the name, email, and message you type are processed by that service, under their terms. Say that in your own policy, and link to them if you use them.

Payment

Buy buttons send people to a Stripe Payment Link. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s site, not on Canvas & Lens. Stripe’s privacy policy covers that payment. This site does not see the card.

Hosting

Placeholder: name the company that hosts the files (for example the cPanel host, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages). Hosts typically log IP addresses in server logs. Say how long you believe those logs are kept, after you ask the host.

Cookies and analytics

Version 1 does not set analytics cookies and does not embed a third-party tracker. If you add one later, say so here before you turn it on.
